چکیده

Fragrance is a commonly used substance in number of commercial products, and fine control over the release behavior fragrance essential for its successful application. Understanding key to realizing release. Herein, we use tobacco leaf as model substrate investigate mechanism eugenol from leaf. Our results show that interaction between weak physical adsorption, temperature-dependent process. Further analysis on reveals closely associated with morphology change leaves under heating conditions. provide insight into polymer may be useful future design systems.

Remotely Triggered Release from Magnetic Nanoparticles

Multivalent nanoparticles have tremendous potential in the diagnosis and treatment of human disease. Their multivalency allows simultaneous conjugation of targeting ligands to improve nanoparticle homing, polymers (e.g., polyethylene glycol (PEG)) to improve nanoparticle pharmacokinetics, as well as therapeutic drug cargo. Drug release from a nanoparticle surface has been accomplished by bonds ...

Selective non-covalent triggered release from liposomes.

A zinc(II)-dipicolylamine coordination complex selectively associates with anionic liposomes, including sterically protected PEGylated liposomes, and causes rapid leakage of encapsulated contents.

Ultrasound-triggered release from multilayered capsules.

The growing need for drug-delivery systems that release their contents in a desired fashion has intensified research for “smart carriers” with intelligent properties. Compared to more established delivery vehicles, such as polymeric micelles, liposomes, and small colloidal particles, polymeric polyelectrolyte multilayered capsules 8] are emerging materials with high potential as macromolecular ...

Release of sFasL by Monocytes and Lymphocytes Triggered by Betaglucan and Zymosan

Background: Polysaccharides have long been used as immune-modulators in various pathologic conditions including inflammation and solid malignancies. Objective: To evaluate the effects of Zymosan and Betaglucan on cytotoxic reactions in an effectortarget conjugate system. Methods: Blood was obtained from 20 healthy subjects; purified mononuclear leukocytes (monocytes and lymphocytes) were extrac...

Chemically triggered release of 5-aminolevulinic acid from liposomes.

5-Aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA), a prodrug of Protoporphyrin IX (PpIX), is used for photodynamic therapy of several medical conditions, and as an adjunct for fluorescence guided surgery. The clinical problem of patient photosensitivity after systemic administration could likely be ameliorated if the 5-ALA was delivered more selectivity to the treatment site. Liposomal formulations are inherently ...
